Art is my life, an extension of all I am, a creator.
My exposure to glass came in 2005, the door opened and the studio became my classroom. I began creating jewelry pieces which soon became plates and platters. I had fun creating small glass guitars, cityscapes, and table art. Thin glass became thick with a collection of cast boxes. After creating awards and collections that grew to include sushi sets and wall art, I found my way to a sculptural process known as “pate de verre” or paste of glass.
My work currently encompasses the knowledge and techniques these years of studio glass exploration have brought together. After sculpting, painting and kiln casting the glass form is complete, the journey taken.
I continue to explore the world around me to reach new heights personally and in glass art.
Glass has become an intrinsic part of me.
